Geometrium

Geometrium is not exactly an ordinary online furniture and finishing materials store. All of the products in the assortment (60,000 of them, by the way) are chosen so that they can be combined with each other. Painless for your sense of beauty. In the catalog you do not have to wade through tawdry pretentious chandeliers and photo wallpaper with palm trees - here you can find only current solutions that were collected by professional interior designers.

  • The purchaser can choose any goods he or she liked and "concoct" a finished project from them. Or he can turn to the experts: Geometrium offers the service "Designer for Two Hours".
  • Implementation

We conducted UX research on the target audience to get to the exact "pains" of the buyers. The site was developed on the 1C Bitrix platform.

  • Objectives
  • To create an online store with native mechanics, which will be convenient for both end users and interior designers;
  • To tastefully choose a visual that matches the modern style of the goods;
  • To use a ready template for the design;
  • Develop a structured and logical catalog with navigation, search, and filters;
  • On a separate page, interest designers in partnership opportunities.
  • Based on the needs of the potential consumer, we have thought about the division of the catalog into sections. The menu includes the following categories: lighting, electrical appliances, sanitary ware, flooring, tiles, wall coverings, carpets, furniture, safes and household appliances.
  • Finally, we made the site adaptive: it's easy to use from any device from a smartphone to a desktop.
  • For easy product selection we have created smart filters on Bitrix that reduce the load on the service. They work thanks to facet indexes and divide products by basic search criteria: shape, color, material, size, brand, and so on. Each category has its own filters.
  • Our developers have worked on the product comparison engine. With its help the buyer can visually compare similar items according to characteristics that are important to him.
  • The visuals of the site with a black and white color scheme - light and minimalistic, without frills and other distractions.
  • We pride ourselves on our ability to create concise solutions. As Michelangelo said, "take a stone and cut off everything superfluous. That's how simple feedback forms came to be, so lazy to fill them out.
